Some say the road to hell is paved with good intentions.  I say the crumbling roads in poorly run cities were paved with good intentions.  In New Orleans Councilman Freddie King wants to pass a law to force parking lots to have an attendant or maybe a security guard present on game day. I say this is the City of New Orleans being derelict of their duty to maintain safety in our city.  They are trying to force businesses and cities to pay for the safety their tax dollars are supposed to provide them.  It's an efringement on freedom, and a hidden tax on everyone.  And it will create unintended consequences for everyone in the City.  And if this law is passed, elected officials that passed it will brag and boast on how great it is and how hard they are working for us, while making us pay more for what they are not doing.  It's like paying a business for their services, and not getting the services, and the business asks you to do the service for yourself.  Kind of like self check out or self security in this case.
