My interview with LA State Rep Jack McFarland

Who wants more taxes? AND a Gas Tax, Not me, I generally don't like them and I have the mindset that I just want government to learn how to spend less. But what if they make sense? How much or how little? Or, what if a tax done through legislation in the next Baton Rouge Session can also create better use of our tax dollars to rebuild and repair our deteriorating infrastructure while finding better and more efficient use of our tax dollars. I am not saying I support more taxes, but I think there are ideas in this bill, explained in this interview, that are worth listening to that might help improve Louisiana. If this one doesn't get through, maybe the ideas in this bill can be applied to the use of our money in other areas. So, In this interview, Jack McFarland, Louisiana State Representative, District 13, explains his "gas tax" legislation and how it will make more efficient use of our tax dollars, while improving our infrastructure, protect our tax dollars from future bad spending practices, and........... bring more jobs to Louisiana, lower maintenance costs, and make our State more competitive to those around us.
