William Wallis For America

Feb 14, 2021

Sometimes nicknames get in the way of the true name of a place and can create a different meaning.  In this interview with Charles Marsala, he discusses the original name of the circle of land on St. Charles Ave. by the D-Day Museum in New Orleans, which was originally named Tivoli Circle and tells us about it's history and how that is the original name, and has never been changed.  And he also tells us how it could be used today to honor our Veterans as a Blue Star Highway.  This land, within the City limits just steps away from the D-Day Museum, could be rededicated as a Blue Star highway to honor all US Veterans of all branches and include under-represented members of our armed forces.
